November 2016: Uptick in Seizures by Mexican Customs of Counterfeit SD Memory Cards and Host Products, Estimated Retail Value Over $700,000

In November of 2016, Customs Officials at Mexico City's International Airport and Pantaco Train Station intercepted and seized shipments containing over 43,000 counterfeit SD memory cards, and over 100,000 counterfeit card readers. Thereafter, SD-3C LLC filed criminal complaints against each importer associated with the recent seizures for trademark infringement. These actions are pending.
