Customs Raid Conducted on Electronics Company in Frankfurt Germany, Resulting in Seizure of Counterfeit SD Host Products
On or around May 13, 2019, German Customs Police raided an electronics company under surveillance in Frankfurt, which lead to the confiscation of approximately 1,300 counterfeit SD Host Products such as Digital Cameras and DVR's consisting of counterfeit SD card slots and bearing a counterfeit microSD trademark. The estimated retail value of the goods had they been genuine is approximately $97,500.
On behalf of SD-3C LLC a criminal complaint has been filed by German Customs Police and submitted to the Public Prosecutor.
