Chinese AIC Raid Conducted on Electronics Company in Shenzhen, Resulting in Seizure of Counterfeit SD Memory Cards
On or around May 29, 2019 in a joint action, officials with the Administration for Industry and Commerce ("AIC") from the Shenzhen Bao'an branch and Yantian office raided an electronics company located in Shenzhen, which lead to the confiscation of over 1,300 counterfeit SD memory cards bearing counterfeit microSDHC and microSDXC trademarks. The estimated retail value of the confiscated memory cards had they been genuine is approximately $81,000.
