Japan Customs Confiscate Counterfeit SD Memory Cards,Estimated Retail Value $2,850.
Osaka Customs Officials seized approximately 150 counterfeit high-capacity SDmemory cards infringing on the microSDXC trademark. The shipment originated inZhejiang, China, and was intercepted by Japanese Customs to block the importationof counterfeit goods.
In lieu of further legal action, the importer forfeited the goods for destruction underthe supervision of Japan Customs Officials.
