Japan Customs Seize 3,088 Counterfeit SD Memory Cards, Estimated Retail Value $15,400
Japan Customs Officials in Moji seized 3,088 counterfeit SD memory cards entering the country from the Jiangsu Province in China. SD-3C LLC ("SD-3C") then filed a complaint against the importer for trademark infringement.
Japan Customs Officials later informed SD-3C the importer forfeited the counterfeit SD memory cards for destruction in lieu of any further legal action.
