Japan Customs Confiscate Counterfeit SD Memory Cards, Estimated Retail Value $44,500.
Japan Customs Officials located at Fukuoka Airport, confiscated approximately 2,900 counterfeit SD memory cards infringing on the microSDHC trademark. The memory cards seized represent the export of infringing products leaving Taipei, Taiwan for importation into Japan.
The importer forfeited the counterfeit SD memory cards for destruction under the supervision of Japanese Customs Officials.
