Spain Customs Seize Counterfeit SD Memory Cards, Estimated Retail Value $192,000
Spanish Customs Officials located at Alicante Airport seized over 27,000 counterfeit SD memory cards infringing on the microSDHC trademark. The memory cards represent the export of counterfeit goods leaving China for importation into Spain.
In lieu of further legal action by SD-3C LLC, the importer agreed to forfeit the counterfeit goods for destruction under the supervision of Spanish Customs Officials.
