Brazilian Federal Revenue Repression Division and Civil Police Conduct Coordinated Raid Action at Shopping Mall, Seizing Counterfeit SD Memory Cards and SD Host Products, Estimated Retail Value $17,000.
Authorities from the Federal Revenue Repression Division and Civil Police of Belo Horizonte, state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, conducted a raid against shop owners at the Oiapoque mall, resulting in seizure of approximately 680 counterfeit SD memory cards, adapters, and USB card readers infringing on the microSDHC, microSDXC, and microSD trademarks.
The Authorities transferred the confiscated products to a Customs Warehouse for destruction.
